Grab your boots, hitch the camper and make plans to attend the family-friendly Western Weekend with the optional Trail Ride For Hope while supporting the important work of fighting human sex trafficking and abuse throughout Texas.
Hope Rising, is a 501c3 non-profit, anti-human sex trafficking organization providing residential care and wrap around trauma services to trafficking survivors and abuse victims throughout the Houston energy corridor.
This 3rd annual, family-friendly Western Weekend and Ride For Hope April 4th & 5th will be held at the magnificent 7IL Ranch in Washington, Texas amid the green rolling hills and fields of bluebonnets.
Saturday’s events include a morning trail ride, for those participating with their own horses. Don’t have a horse? No worries, there are plenty of fun activities to keep you and the family occupied throughout the afternoon. Guests will enjoy an equine therapy demonstration from our certified equine specialist and pro-rodeo inductee Gayle Brittain, activities and Western demonstrations for the kiddos, and the highly requested Sermon on the Mount demonstration from Dr. Lew Sterrett and his horse, Cowboy.
After a day of outdoor activity, guest will enjoy the sumptuous dinner prepared by a real-life Chuck Wagon cooking crew. Enjoy live music and dance the night away.
Sunday, attendees will enjoy a hearty breakfast before enjoying the fellowship provided by Church in the Dirt, with speaker and musical talents provided by Brenham’s Cowboy Church. Guests will enjoy lunch and more outdoor activities, and an optional trail ride (must provide your own horse).
